Mission Statement

Providing education, medicine, and compassion to enhance the lives of pets
and their owners.

Our Hospital Values:

  • Honesty/Client Relationships
We value honest relationships. We want our clients to know we will always pursue what we think is right for their pet and for them.

  • Continuing Education
We value the pursuit of new ideas; medicine and technology in helping our pets live better, longer lives.

  • Pain Relief
We believe in providing medication and healing touch to those pets affected by acute and chronic disease, and post operative pain.

  • Preventative Medicine
We value the time and skill to perform a complete physical exam and diagnostic testing. We present the best treatment options to help guide families in making the most appropriate decision for the welfare of their pets.

  • Lincolnshire and Our Neighbors
We appreciate the opportunity to serve our hometown and surrounding communities. We value the neighborhood we work in and ask that you do as well when visiting our hospital.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Clarke
Dr. Stuart Clarke was raised in Riverside, Illinois. Following high school he attended Iowa State University and studied Microbiology before graduating from The College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine in the Chicago land area and joined Lincolnshire Animal Hospital in 1997. Dr. Clarke’s veterinary interests include dentistry and oncology as well as providing appropriate wellness care to enhance his patients’ lives. Together, with his wife Laura, they share 3 horses, 4 dogs, 1 parrot, 1 lizard, 1 bunny, and 3 chickens. He enjoys skiing, coaching, fishing and horse training.

Dr. Emmelot
Dr. Patrick Emmelot grew up locally, graduating from Fremd High School in 1985. He worked at Palatine Animal Hospital during that time until heading off to the University of Illinois where he studied Animal Science in undergrad and then earned his DVM at The College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He practiced at Park Ridge Animal Hospital and Palatine Animal Hospital before landing at Lincolnshire Animal Hospital in 1999. Family life started when he and his wife Beth married in 1992. Their daughter Marlies was born in 1997 and son Jake in 2002. As a family they enjoy hitting the bike trail, going for walks with the dogs Buddy and A.J., and catching an occasional Sox game down at The Cell (though he still calls it Comiskey!). Pat spends his free time coaching soccer with his kids, dabbling in photography, and standing in front of the barbecue whenever possible.

“Through all my years in practice I have enjoyed the many exciting challenges that we face in the field of Veterinary Medicine. Whether it is in the form of new modalities like digital radiography and ultrasound or the continued improvement in therapies for such diseases as diabetes, heart disease and cancer, Veterinary Medicine is fluid and ever changing. My goal has always been to provide progressive veterinary care for my patients with their quality of life always at the forefront of any treatment decision.”

Dr. DiFuccia
Dr. Julie DiFuccia graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s school of Veterinary Medicine
in 2004. Despite being a ‘Wisconsinite’, she relocated to this area shortly after graduation and has been happily living in Bear country ever since. She married her vet school sweetheart in 2004, and they have slowly acquired three well-behaved cats, and two very naughty dogs. In her free time, she likes to
travel, especially to places where she can indulge
her passion for snorkeling.

“I have been very lucky to stumble across this great practice early in my career, where the clients have become friends and the staff, like family. I could not imagine a better place to be able to practice good medicine with people who adore their pets and are as committed to maintaining their health as we are.”

Dr. Rasch
Dr. Kelly Rasch received her B.S. in Biology and her DVM at the University of Illinois and is a recent and wonderful addition to The Lincolnshire Animal
Hospital. She worked in critical care for years prior
to joining the team here.

“I work part time at Lincolnshire Animal Hospital.
You’ll find me here Tuesdays, Fridays, and every
third Saturday. I owned my own veterinary practice
for years, but got really tired of being the boss. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found a place with such nice co-workers and clients. My family pets include Mae, Cooper and Blossom (in addition to my husband and two daughters!!!)

Dr. Brusek
Dr. Adrianne Brusek is a 2003 graduate of The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Chicago native and has been practicing in
the Chicagoland area since graduating. She enjoys
all aspects of veterinary medicine especially preventative medicine, internal medicine and dermatology. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family-husband, daughter and soon to
be baby #2! Her family also includes three wonderful dogs, and two cuddly cats.

"I am excited about joining the Lincolnshire Animal Hospital team. I hope to become a vital part of this hospital, and I look forward to meeting you and your four legged loved ones!"
