Pet Surgery and Pet Dentistry

We have available time with our doctors daily to meet the surgical needs of your pet. Our surgical suite has complete anesthesia monitoring equipment and patient warming devices to ensure your pets safety during all anesthetic procedures. We use the most safe anesthetics and pain medications to make sure their day is as comfortable as possible. We have the capability to dental procedures, including extractions, x-rays and routine cleaning and polishing. We also do routine surgical procedures including spaying and neutering your pet, as well as preventative medical procedures. We refer your pet to a board certified veterinary surgeon for certain procedures that require very specialized equipment. Therapy Dogs

The group consists of clients as well as non-clients of the Lincolnshire Animal Hospital and their pets. Most of our pets are dogs. We welcome cats and any other species that are not considered “wild”.

We are a volunteer group that is available to visit nursing homes, facilities for the developmentally disabled and hospitals, as well as other appropriate settings. Those interested may work on a one-on- one basis with hospice patients in their homes, under the supervision of various hospice organizations.

All dogs must be certified through Therapy Dog International. Marilyn is an evaluator and can certify dogs, but she asks that you follow the link to their website to read about the requirements prior to contacting her.

Pet Boarding

Our boarding facility is designated for our clients only. We have a full time kennel staff that is dedicated strictly to our boarding animals. Our boarding cats and dogs receive a free examination with every stay. Our goal is to make a clean and comfortable setting for them that is as close to home as possible. Bathing services are available upon request. Call us or email us today to make an appointment or to inquire about our available services.
